Understanding Your Neurotype: Clinical & Non-Clinical Pathways
You might be wondering if Autism or ADHD explains some of your lifelong patterns, or you may be seeking a gentler, non-clinical way to explore your inner world before stepping into anything formal.
These pathways are different, and you’re allowed to take the one that feels safest and most manageable right now.
For many people, this whole process can feel confusing and overwhelming at first.
I hear you.

Understanding Your Neurotype
(Clinical service - assessment and screening pathway)
Understanding your neurotype can bring relief, clarity, and a deeper sense of self-recognition.
Whether you’re exploring Autism, ADHD, both, or simply trying to make sense of lifelong patterns, clinical screening and formal assessment offer structured, evidence-based ways to understand how your brain works.
This process is gentle, collaborative, and paced with your nervous system in mind. We look at your history, strengths, challenges, sensory world, emotional patterns, masking, burnout, and the deeper “why” behind the way you move through life.
My role is to help you feel seen, understood, and grounded - not pathologised.
Together, we build a clear picture that can support identity, self-advocacy, and next steps.
Merging Sessions
(Non-clinical, intuitive, supportive pathway - completely separate from psychology)
Merging Sessions offer a soft, intuitive space for emotional integration, gentle reflection, and inner reconnection.
These sessions are not therapy, not clinical, and not part of psychology services. They sit outside Medicare, diagnosis, mental health care, or report writing.
This is a space for slowing down, making sense of feelings, grounding the nervous system, and exploring the emotional and symbolic layers of your experience in a non-clinical way.
Think: gentle meaning-making, imagery, intuition, and inner steadiness.

choosing your pathway
Ready to take the first step toward understanding yourself more deeply?
You now have three ways to begin this process:
1. A full clinical assessment
—to explore Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, or broader neurodevelopmental patterns.
2. A brief clinical screening
—to help you clarify whether a full assessment may be helpful, or to prepare for GP or psychiatry referrals.
3. A gentle, non-clinical Merging Session
—for emotional processing, insight, and inner connection without entering the clinical system.
Each pathway offers support, just in different ways.
All pathways offer support - they’re just different kinds of support.
To keep things clear and ethical, these pathways can’t overlap.
This means:
-
If you choose Merging Sessions, you can’t later have a clinical assessment or clinical screening with me.
-
If you have a clinical assessment or screening with me, you can’t later do Merging Sessions.
This keeps everything safe, simple, and easy to understand.
Whichever path you choose, you won’t be doing it alone.
I’m here to help you move through this process gently, with clarity and care.
Let’s begin in the way that feels right for you.
