Merging Sessions
“We can be this good, if not even greater in the world - not despite the barriers we face, but through them or because of them - by championing ourselves or by encountering the kindness of others who have championed those differences and innovations.” –
Atif Choudhury - Chief Executive of Diversity and Ability

A gentle, non-clinical space to explore who you are
Merging Sessions are a short, supportive offering designed for people who want space to reflect on their identity, neurodivergence, life experiences, or next steps - without entering therapy or a formal assessment.
These sessions are not therapy or treatment. They are a separate, non-clinical service where we meet for a small number of conversations (up to four) to help you feel clearer, grounded, and more connected to yourself.
Some people come already diagnosed, some are self-identified, and some are simply curious.
This offering is warm, reflective, and flexible and completely shaped around what feels helpful for you.

HOW SESSIONS WORK
-
Format: online (Zoom) or in-person
-
Length: 50 minutes

-
Total: up to four sessions (one cycle)
-
Focus: gentle conversation, reflection, and identity support
-
Approach: ND-affirming, trauma-aware, culturally responsive
If it becomes clear that you’d benefit from more structured clinical support, I’ll gently talk this through with you and help point you toward services that can meet those needs.
Merging sessions are non-clinical
They sit outside my psychologist registration and don’t involve Medicare, diagnosis, therapy, or clinical frameworks. Because of this, you can’t attend Merging Sessions while being a psychology client with me. If you later choose a clinical assessment, we’ll plan the timing to avoid dual roles and keep everything safe and ethical.
To keep things clear and supportive, this offering does not include:
• Therapy or psychological treatment
• Crisis support or mental health care
• Diagnosis, assessment, or clinical reports
• Medicare billing
• Letters for NDIS, Centrelink, workplaces, or legal matters
• Ongoing or long-term support
• Traditional coaching
These boundaries protect your well-being and ensure you receive the correct type of support for where you are.
